The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
